About the Role
-Co-ordinate the budget needs required for overall support services by the various TechLog entities: Marine, Logistic Operations, Logistic Bases, Methods, Stocks, & Transit
-Review & consolidate Techlog resources needs by clients: FOPS, ECP, HSE, DCD, Projects and ensure appropriate budget provision and allocation are made
-Participate and assist in budget planning exercises for Technical Logistics Division: Initial annual budget & PDCs, Realignment exercises
-Participate and assist in TechLog budget data preparation for the Annual Long-Term Plan to be submitted to Development Planning
-Prepares TechLog budget data and participate in Partner’s budget review exercises: SUBCOMS for initial budgets, realignments, performance reviews, and initiate periodic dedicated engagements of Partners on Techlog budget concerns
-Monitor, follow-up and analyse budget performance versus approved budget and forecast realignment requirements where applicable
-Interface with cost control on budget allocation and budget reporting
-Prepare statistics key figures (SKF), reporting and issue annual brochure
-Prepare and issue monthly cost/budget reports to TechLog Management
-Review, develop and contribute to improvement of the internal TechLog budget processes
-Conduct cost Efficiency monitoring, reviews and analyze Cost Performance Indicators (CPI), drive & follow up on cost reduction initiatives and roadmap implementation
-Interface with Contracts & Procurement team and participate in Call-for-tender exercises (CFT), and ensure all TechLog services are performed with valid contracts in-place
-Organize Service Quality Meetings (SQMs) & contractor fora for contractors and follow-up actions
-Coordinate Decentralized buyers’ operations, initiate processes and define performance methods for Purchase Request creation, Purchase orders, Offer budget proposals, reconciliation exercises with CTRs, etc.
-Responsible to issue periodic cost and budget reports - monthly SKFS
-Any other duty that would be assigned by the hierarchy
Requirements
BSC, BEng. or equivalent
5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas Industry Operations and a suitable knowledge in Finance, Cost Control, FOPs
Fluency in English
Ability to work with figures, adapt, analyze problems, communicate with different entities and be flexible
Good knowledge of office computing tools (Microsoft Office, etc.) and presentation skills
Knowledge of SAP is very vital
